Join us for SBC’s Beltane ritual

Saturday April 27, 2019
gather 2:30pm
ritual 3pm

San Juan Bautista Picnic Area, Hellyer County Park
985 Hellyer Avenue, San Jose, CA
(Use the Velodrome entrance, We’re the first picnic area on the left)

Celebrate the joys of being in nature and in community, weaving that energy back into our lives.

Dress comfortably and bring a chair or blanket if you will need to sit during ritual.

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck and suggested donation $10-$20 (no one turned away for lack of funds). The park has a $6 parking fee, so carpooling is encouraged.

Guidelines for Potluck:

Please bring food that is ready to serve.

If possible, please label your food so those with food restrictions will know what’s in it.

Bring something you like and will want, that way you are guaranteed to like something.

Most of our potlucks are meals (unless the invite says otherwise) so main dishes, salads, side dishes, desserts, beverages to share are all welcome.

Ritual Etiquette:

Be polite, friendly, and considerate of others.

Use common sense.

Ask the owner before touching items (drums, altar item, jewelry etc.)

Stop chatting and turn off your phone when the ritual is about to start.

Rituals are participatory, so please join in when asked.

A cast circle is a sacred space so don’t be disruptive.

Assist in the post-event clean-up – please take care of your own
trash.

Be discreet if you run into people elsewhere, not all Pagans are public
about it.

The requested donations are used to pay for our insurance and site
rental fees. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but these
contributions are essential to our continued existence.

SBC Ostara, March 15, 2019

What better way to get in touch with the power your inner child holds
than to rejoice in it by attending an Ostara ritual with kids? Reconnect
with your sacred youth as you interact with the story of how Ostara
changed a frozen, dying bird into the legendary Ostara/Easter bunny.

South Bay Circles is proud to present South Bay Pagan Kids in our 2019
Ostara ritual. Help usher in the Spring and find out from where the
Easter/Ostara bunny comes. Fill your heart and soul with the child-like
joy of the maiden.

Feel free to bring your drums, rhythm sticks, and other percussion
instruments but, please no pitched instruments like bells as they
probably won’t match the music key and might clash.

Saturday, March 16th. We’ll gather at 5 pm in the Odd Fellows Lodge in
Cupertino and have the ritual at 5:30 pm. 20589 Homestead Rd, Cupertino,
CA 95014

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck and a suggested donation of
$10-20 (no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds).

Guidelines for Potluck:

Please bring food that is ready to serve. There will not be anyone there
to cut up a whole chicken or slice a loaf of bread. Assume you will not
have access to a refrigerator or stove on site.

Please mark your platter/bowls/serving utensils and remember to take
them with you when you leave. If there is leftover food, please take it
with you.

If possible, please label your food so those with food restrictions will
know what’s in it.

Bring something you like and will want, that way you are guaranteed to
like something.

Most of our potlucks are meals (unless the invite says otherwise) so
main dishes, salads, side dishes, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages to
share are all welcome.

Imbolc/Brigid Ritual 2019!

Imbolc/Brigid Ritual
Hosted by Rosemary Grove and South Bay Circles

We welcome the returning light as the wheel turns and we move into Spring. . .

Ritual: Gather at 5PM, ritual at 5:30PM.

Location:
Odd Fellows Cupertino 70 Lodge
20589 Homestead Rd
Cupertino, CA 95014
(Site is wheelchair accessible.)

Please bring a dish to share for the potluck and a suggested donation of $10-$20 (No one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.).

Ritual & Potluck Info:

Ritual –

Do not show up late, it is very disruptive.

Cell phones/pagers should be turned off before ritual begins.

Respect the working tools of others; do not touch any items without the owner’s permission.

All participants should conduct themselves in a manner respectful of the Gods, your HPS & HP, as well as all the other people in attendance.

A circle is participatory. Once the rite begins, focus and follow the direction of the HPS/HP, the time for talking and socializing is over.

Most groups have an informal segment of the circle after the ritual food and drink have been shared. This is a time to relax, discuss magickal topics, and get to know each other, share and make plans for future events. This is not the time to critique the ritual, or it’s participants.

Potluck/Feast –

Please bring food that is ready to serve.

Mark your platter/bowls/serving utensils and remember to take them with you (along with any leftovers) when you leave.

If possible, label your food for those with dietary restrictions.

Main dishes, salads, side dishes, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages to share are all welcome. (No chips & dip please.)

Help with the cleanup afterwards is always greatly appreciated.

Blessed be!
